ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Aberdeen Public School District is honoring its 2024-25 retirees with an open house.
The public is invited to the event, which will be held 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, in the Central High School Commons.
Individuals who are retiring this spring are listed below, along with their years of service:
· Monica Beck, SPED Psychological Examiner, 40 years of service
· Steve Markley, 4th-grade teacher, C.C. Lee Elementary, 38 years
· Kevin Rook, Business Teacher, Central High School, 33 Years
· Ann Lacher, SPED Educational Assistant, Holgate Middle School, 27 years
· Cheryl Rawerts, Administrative Assistant, Simmons Middle School, 26 years
· Lorna Sharisky, SPED Resource Room Teacher, C.C. Lee Elementary, 26 years
· David Hagen, PE/Health Teacher, Simmons Middle School, 23 years
· Carolyn Geyer, 7th-grade language arts teacher, 22 years
· Debra Heiden, SPED Resource Room Teacher, C.C. Lee Elementary, 20 years
