Ford Motor Company/American Indian College Fund Corporate Scholars Program

Summary: Applicant must be a Native American, Alaskan or Hawaiian student seeking to earn college credentials in math, technology, business and science at tribal colleges and universities or other institutions of higher learning. A minimum cumulative GPA standard of 3.0 is required for program participation. Awards worth $10,000 each, based on financial need and academic performance.

The Bureau of Indian Education Higher Education Grant Program

Adolph Van Pelt Foundation

The Gates Millennium Scholars

Summary: Funded by a $1.6 billion grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the program removes financial barriers to education for high-performing, low-income students of certain ethnic backgrounds. Applicants must be citizens, legal permanent residents or nationals of the United States and have a cumulative GPA of 3.3, among other requirements.

American Indian Education Fund Undergraduate Scholarships

Summary: Either the applicant or the applicant’s parent must have documented membership as a Native American, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian. Requires application, essay, transcript and documentation of membership. $2,000 scholarships awarded.

American Indian Services Grants and Scholarships

Summary: Provides grants and scholarships to full- or part-time students enrolled in a university, college, junior college or technical school. Applicants must have at least 1/4 Northern-Native American Indian blood and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25.
