CHS Class of 1973 Endowment

The Aberdeen Public Schools Foundation is excited to announce the establishment of the new CHS Class of 1973 Endowment, aimed at providing essential resources for students across all schools in the district. This endowment will address critical needs such as winter clothing, meals, hygiene products, and other support items, ensuring that every student has the necessary tools to succeed both academically and socially.
In a community where every child’s well-being is a priority, this endowment reflects the Foundation's commitment to fostering a supportive educational environment. The Class of 1973 aims to create a landscape where all students can thrive, regardless of their background.
“We are proud to establish an endowment for the Class of ’73. We are looking forward to the growth of the endowment and putting it to good use, supporting the students of the Aberdeen Public Schools,” said Sheree Hogan, member of the CHS Class of ’73.
The decision by the CHS Class of 1973 to launch this endowment was inspired after their 50th Class Reunion by the Foundation’s ongoing outreach and the feedback received from educators, families, and alumni.
The Aberdeen Public Schools Foundation invites community members, businesses, and alumni to contribute to this important initiative. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students and strengthen our community's future.
As of June 30, 2025 the balance of the CHS Class of 1973 Endowment has reached $6,900.
