CHS CLASS OF 1974 ENDOWMENT
Members of the Aberdeen Central Class of 1974 saw an opportunity to address personal needs of K-12 students in the Aberdeen School District and generously contributed to create an endowment to provide grants to fulfill these necessities.
The CHS Class of 1974 Endowment, administered by the Aberdeen Public Schools Foundation, will provide grants to satisfy personal needs of Aberdeen School District Students, such as gloves, socks, coats and other necessary items as identified by school district counselors.
“Last November at the 45th gathering of the Class of 1974, several classmates mentioned the possibility of giving back to the Aberdeen Public Schools in the form of an endowment for the children of the district. During the next few years, we hope to continue to substantially grow this amount,” said Brad Olson ’74. “Kudos to the class for ‘doing the right thing’ for the District and students in need. I encourage my classmates and others to consider future gifts to the endowment.”
