Aberdeen Central Class of 1963 Endowment
Generous donations by members of the Aberdeen Central High School Class of 1963 after their 60th class reunion established the Class of 1963 Endowment. Class of 1963 Scholarships from this endowment will support students who have demonstrated academic perseverance and face financial challenges.
Bill Roth, a member of the Class of 1963, shares, “The Aberdeen Central High School Class of 1963 held our 60th class reunion in September 2023 and one common theme in many of the conversations was how blessed we were to grow up in Aberdeen in the 1950s and 1960s. We were blessed by family, friends, the community of Aberdeen, and a school system which provided us with an excellent education. We decided to establish the Class of 1963 Endowment to leave a class legacy of financially supporting and positively impacting the lives of future Aberdeen Central High School students who have a desire to further their education and who have limited financial resources. We hope the scholarships that will be awarded from this endowment will assist those students in achieving their dreams and goals.”
One annual scholarship will be funded for CHS seniors with a GPA above 2.0 who demonstrate financial need.
