Generous donations Patricia and Elton Fors established the Patricia A. Grover Fors and Elton W. Fors Endowment in 2024.

Patricia is an Aberdeen Central graduate of the Class of 1949 and an Emeritus Associate Professor of Health and Physical Education at Northern State University, 1957-1996.  Elton is an Emeritus Professor of Mathematics at Northern State University, 1960-1997. 

Annual scholarships from this endowment will support CHS seniors attending Northern State University, majoring in music education or math education. Applicants must show academic achievement, excellent character and demonstrate financial need.

As of June 30, 2024 the balance of the Patricia A. Grover Fors and Elton W. Fors Endowment has reached $37,650.
