Aberdeen Public School District

This week, C.C. Lee Elementary Student Council members planted five new trees outside the school. 

The students planted the trees on Wednesday just south of C.C. Lee, which is celebrating its 50^th anniversary this year. 

The five trees symbolize the different "branches" of the school:

·         Community

·         Parents

·         Leadership

·         Students

·         Staff

The trees were planted during a ceremony attended by students, parents, staff, city officials and Aberdeen Public School Board members.

Also in attendance were four of the five C.C. Lee principals throughout the years: Duane Alm, Luther Schumacher, Eric Kline and current principal Chris Osborn.
