Mean Girls rehearsal at CHS

ABERDEEN, S.D. – This spring, the Aberdeen Central Theatre Department will present the hit production, “Mean Girls the Musical.”

Performances will begin at 7 p.m. April 24-26 at the CHS Thomas F. Kelly Theater. General admission tickets will be available at the door at a cost of $6 for adults and $4 for students. Activity passes will be accepted.

Adapted from the 2004 film of the same name, “Mean Girls the Musical” follows Cady Heron, the new girl in high school who falls into the sights of the ultra-popular, ruthless Regina George and her clique of “Plastics.” Please note: The production is intended for a high school audience and older.

Performing the lead roles for Aberdeen Central are Emma Carlsgaard as Cady and Zoey Pigors as Regina. Playing the roles of the “Plastics” are Hannah Anderson as Karen and Evie Moe as Gretchen. Playing Cady’s friends are Joey Johnson as Damian and Reese Comstock as Janis, and Carson Goethels will play the role of Aaron.

Additional roles and their actors are Quinn Peterson and Felicity Gasperich as Mr. and Mrs. Heron; Cadynce German as Regina’s mom; Ravyn Duttenhofer as Kevin; Sam Raap as Mr. Duvall; Sydnei Heinzen as Ms. Norbury; Jill Harmel as Mrs. Buck; Kenley Skinner as French teacher; and Mason Duncan as Coach Carr.
