Holgate Principal Bo Beck

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Holgate Middle School Principal Bo Beck has been named Middle School Principal of the Year by the South Dakota Association of Secondary School Principals.

Beck was nominated by peers because of his leadership within the Aberdeen Public School District, as well as throughout the region and state, according to a news release from the SDASSP. 

Beck will receive his formal award during a banquet held at the State Principal’s Conference on Tuesday, June 10, at the Deadwood Lodge. 

Beck has been principal at Holgate Middle School since 2018. Prior to his time with the Aberdeen Public School District, he spent 14 years with the Eureka School District and six years with the school district in Midland, S.D.

This well-deserved honor reflects his unwavering passion for education and the positive impact he has on students, staff, and the entire school community.”
