ABERDEEN, S.D. – Aberdeen Central High School senior Aglaia Ramey has been awarded a full scholarship to the University of Notre Dame through the QuestBridge National College Match Program.
Ramey is one of 2,627 high school seniors selected from over 25,000 applicants nationwide to be selected as a 2024 Match Scholarship Recipient.
At Central, Ramey has been on the Honor Roll all through high school and has received the Student of the Month award. She is a Varsity Letter recipient for Cross Country, Debate and FBLA, and has also been involved in NHS, Track and Eagle Squad. Ramey has volunteered as a Sunday school teacher, as well as numerous hours through her participation in FBLA and NHS, helping with community cleanups, commodity boxes and more.
The QuestBridge National College Match program connects high-achieving high school seniors from low-income backgrounds with full four-year scholarships to 52 of the nation’s top colleges, according to a QuestBridge press release. The Match Scholarship covers the full cost of attendance, including tuition, housing and food, books and supplies.
