Congratulations to our November 2024 Caught in the Act winners, Marlene Lorenz and Christen Salfrank!
Lorenz, a substitute teacher for the Aberdeen Public School District, has been recognized in the category of making someone’s day.
She was nominated by Lincoln Elementary first-grade teacher Shannon Scheel, who wrote, “Marlene took my recess duty. Thank you for always trying to make teachers’ lives easier!”
Salfrank, a first-grade teacher at O.M. Tiffany Elementary School, has been recognized in the category of being there for others.
She was nominated by Annie Falk, O.M. Tiffany counselor, who wrote, “Christen noticed my stress involving a tangled mess of red balloons. She helped and made the situation manageable. Working with Christen (and others like her) make our school’s environment positive and a community!”
Has a co-worker gone above and beyond to help you or make your day better? Nominate them for Caught in the Act! Pick up a nomination form in your school’s office and return it to Wendy Miller, human resources receptionist, in the District Service Center!
