ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Aberdeen Public School District is honoring its 2023-24 retirees with an open house.
The public is invited to the event, which will be held 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, in the Central High School Commons.
Individuals who are retiring this spring are listed below, along with their years of service:

· Kris McCafferty, Simmons Middle School Teacher: 31 years
· Juanita Schumacher, Private School Speech-Language Pathologist: 30 years
· Debbie Dell, Simmons Elementary: 28 years
· Mike DeVoss, District-wide Building Maintenance: 28 years
· Peggy Cox, Holgate Middle School Assistant Principal: 26 years
· Kevin Dix, Central High School Teacher: 22 years
· Judy Albl, Holgate Middle School: 20 years
· Carol Jones, Reading Tutor: 19 years
· James Stearns, New Beginnings Teacher: 13 years
