The Aberdeen Point of Dispensing (POD) is offering free seasonal influenza vaccine to all children 6 months through 18 years of age. The free flu clinic for children will be held at the Aberdeen Civic Arena (203 S Washington St, Aberdeen, SD 57401) on Friday, October 30th, 2020 from 3:30 to 6:00PM. The state is supplying the vaccine free of charge and there will be no administration fee at this vaccination clinic. Parent/guardian consent is required, and parents/guardians need to bring the 2020-2021 flu consent form completed with their children to move through the line quickly. Term two starts on October 19. Any remote learners wanting to return to in-person learning at Central should contact their counselor to adjust their schedule. After this upcoming transition date, the next opportunity to transition back to in-person learning is the start of the third term on January 6, 2021. Students transitioning to remote learning at the term break need to turn in a completed remote learning form and then communicate with your counselor on setting up your Edgenuity coursework.
For students who are doing remote learning and making little or no progress, please note that truancy can filed. If remote learning is not working for you please consider coming back to CHS. Truancy will not be filed on any student who returns to in-person learning. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact a counselor or administrator.

CHS will present the play One by One, a murder mystery in the style of an Agatha Christie classic on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7 p.m. The show runs about 1 hour with no intermission. Due to Covid Restrictions, all tickets must be purchased/reserved in advance.
