The Aberdeen Central Golden Eagle Gymnastics Program will have a kick off meeting for all parents and athletes on October 29 at 6:00pm. The meeting will be held in the commons area of CHS.
A 6-12 grade girls and boys wrestling meeting will be held in the CHS commons on Oct. 29, 2024 at 6:00pm. All wrestlers and parents are asked to attend.

Aberdeen Central faces off against the Yankton Bucs in playoff football action on October 31 in Yankton at 7:00pm. The winner advances to round 2 of the playoffs. Go Eagles!

On Wednesday, Aberdeen Central students and staff signed a banner pledging to choose respect, as part of a month-long campaign during October to bring awareness to bullying and bullying prevention. Way to go, Golden Eagles! #NationalBullyingPreventionMonth #AberdeenPublicSchools
Aberdeen Central students got an up-close look at the importance of wearing a seat belt at a safe driving event that took place Tuesday at CHS. The event, held in honor of National Teen Driver Safety Week, included a mock crash and the S.D. Highway Patrol Rollover Simulator Trailer. Congratulations to our First Round College Swag winners! During the South Dakota Free Application Months Student Services is holding a biweekly drawing of seniors who have submitted college applications. We will be drawing for winners again next week!
Also, congrats to Rebekah Sundberg who won a Echo Dot through NSU. To kickoff free application time, NSU held a chance for students to enter in to win a free Echo Dot, and Rebekah was the lucky winner!
A reminder: There will be no school at #AberdeenPublicSchools on Friday, Oct. 25, due to conferences at our elementary schools and middle schools and a comp day at CHS. 💙💛

CHS Picture Retake Day is Wednesday, Oct. 23rd! Please bring your picture packet in order to get retakes.
The CHS Golden Eagles Marching Band closed out its season today in Vermillion at that US BANDS QUAD STATES MARCHING CHAMPIONSHIPS with a 2nd place finish in Class 5 Open with a score of 84.1. The band also won the caption awards for Best Visuals and Best Percussion.
