Congratulations to this week’s Golden Eagle Athlete of the Week, Alyssa Novstrup!

In the first meet of the season, Allie ran hard to a second-place finish with a time of 14:50 over 4K. According to Athletic.net, this time is only the second sub 15-minute 4K recorded on Athletic.net for CHS. She ran smart, stretched her leads out when needed and ran a very impressive race to kick off her season!
