FALL 2022 Dual Credit Registration is open NOW!
Dual Credit registration for Fall 2022 courses is open. If you registered to take some Dual Credit courses for first semester next year during our High School Registration last semester, now is the time to get signed up with those classes with the colleges.
**REMEMBER: This is for first semester classes ONLY, you WILL NOT register for second semester Dual Credit classes at this time!**
Deadline to turn in your completed Dual Credit paperwork to your assigned School Counselor is Friday, May 13th.
To take Dual Credit as a Senior, students must meet ONE of the following criteria:
- Have an UNWEIGHTED GPA of 3.25 or higher OR
- Rank in the upper 1/2 of your class OR
- Have a 21 or higher ACT composite score
To take Dual Credit as a Junior, students must meet ONE of the following criteria:
- Have an UNWEIGHTED GPA of 3.5 or higher OR
- Rank in the upper 1/3 of your class OR
- Have a 24 or higher ACT composite score
**If you are not sure if you are eligible for Dual Credit, or you can't remember if you registered to take a Dual Credit course in the Fall during our High School Registration last semester, see your assigned School Counselor.

For students who are eligible to take Dual Credit and know they signed up to have first semester Dual Credit courses on their High School Registration follow the registration instructions below, your application process depends on if you are taking a Dual Credit course this semester or not:
PLEASE BE SURE TO FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS!
FOR STUDENTS NEW TO THE DUAL CREDIT PROGRAM OR WHO ARE NOT TAKING A DUAL CREDIT COURSE THIS SEMESTER:
- CLICK HERE to access the CHS Dual Credit Paperwork - It can also be found on the Student Services webpage under "Dual Credit"
- Please be sure to follow the instructions and click on the appropriate links.
- You need to be sure to sign ALL the paperwork, and get signatures from parent/guardian, Advocate, and Mrs. Arechigo.
- Your assigned School Counselor will take care of the School Official and Principal signatures.
- Turn your completed paperwork into your assigned School Counselor, who will then get it processed and sent to the post-secondary school.
FOR STUDENTS CURRENTLY TAKING A DUAL CREDIT COURSE THIS SEMESTER:
- The Fall class options can be found in the DOE Dual Credit Dashboard on the SDMyLife Dual Credit page.
- Planning to take a Course(s) through a 4-year college
- You DO NOT need to fill out an online application since you are continuing with Dual Credit into the Summer Semester.
- CLICK HERE to access the "Continuing Registration" Dual Credit Form for 4-year colleges
- You need to be sure to sign your paperwork and get parent/guardian signatures on the required papers.
- Your assigned School Counselor will take care of the School Official and Principal signatures.
- Planning to take a Course(s) through a Technical School
- You DO NOT need to fill out an online application since you are continuing with Dual Credit into the Fall Semester.

- You need to be sure to sign your paperwork and get parent/guardian signatures on the required papers.
- Your assigned School Counselor will take care of the School Official and Principal signatures.
- Turn your completed paperwork into your assigned School Counselor, who will then get it processed and sent to the post-secondary school.
REMEMBER - This is for registration for Fall Dual Credit courses only, if you are planning to take Dual Credit courses second semester next year, you will register for those at another time.
