Dual Credit is an amazing opportunity for high school juniors and seniors who meet admission requirements, to enroll in public post-secondary school in South Dakota, and earn BOTH high school credit and college credit. Students can take Dual Credit courses for the LOW price of $48.33 per credit hour.
SEMESTER TWO REGISTRATION PROCESS
- Students who are currently taking a dual credit course this semester and are planning to continue to take dual credit courses next semester – DO NOT need to fill out the online application this term. Instead, these students will just need to fill out the required paperwork and turn that in to their assigned School Counselor.

- Students who have never taken a dual credit course before, OR are not currently enrolled in a Dual Credit course for this current semester, the application process is the same as always

Classes do fill up, so the sooner students turn their Dual Credit applications in, the better chance they have of getting into the class they want. Applications shouldn’t be turned in to the student’s assigned School Counselor no later than Thursday, December 23rd.
Reminder that Students/Parents/Guardians are responsible for the cost of the class, as well as any books associated with the course. The Aberdeen Schools Foundation does offer a reimbursement for up to $50 per class for book purchases, this form can be found on the Student Services webpage, or Click Here.
