Attendance at Public School Events
Beginning the week starting November 29, 2020, due to the COVID-10 conditions in our community and county, the Aberdeen Public Schools will adhere to the restrictions recommended by the SDHSAA under TIER 3 – RED.
TIER 3 – RED allows for the following at events:
*Parents of the participants – MASKS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
*Grandparents of the participants – MASKS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
*Central high school students – MASKS MUST BE WORN
*Visiting high school students – MASKS MUST BE WORN
How has this changed from TIER 2 – YELLOW?
*Staff who do not have children on teams excluded.
*Sponsor Pass excluded.
*Gold Card (retirees) excluded.
Parent regular season passes are on sale at the District Service Center – 1224 South Third Street – between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM CST. Parent regular season passes are good for all home events during the regular season only.
Pass costs and purchasing restrictions are as follows …
*Basketball – separate pass for boys and girls games – can purchase a maximum of six
(6) season passes in the gender your child participates for $20 per pass. The passes are
for your family – parents, siblings, and grandparents – does not include post-season
events.
*Gymnastics parents can purchase a maximum of four (4) season passes for their
family – parents, siblings, and grandparents – does not include post-season events.
*Wrestling parents can purchase a maximum of six (4) season passes for their family –
parents, siblings, and grandparents – does not include post-season events.
Middle School Sport Attendance …
*Restricted to parents, siblings and grandparents – MASKS HIGH RECOMMENDED
*No middle school students (except siblings)
*Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for students
