CHS Eagle Zone anchors

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Aberdeen Central High School’s Eagle Zone is a finalist for a 2024 National Student Production Award from the Foundation of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). 

NATAS last week announced nominees in 24 programming and craft categories, selected from high school student entries across the country. CHS Eagle Zone was one of five finalists nominated in the following category:

More than 2,000 entries were submitted to NATAS regional chapters, according to a news release from the organization. Winning entries from the chapters were then submitted for consideration in the National Student Production Awards competition. Entries were judged by selected industry professionals and media academics.

"High schoolers from coast to coast submitted some incredible work for consideration this year," said NATAS Chair Terry O'Reilly in the news release. "These young producers and craftspeople have much to be proud of. Our academy is thrilled to shine a spotlight on the exceptional talent and tireless work of these students."

Recipients will be announced Nov. 21 beginning at noon Central Time via a web stream produced by NATAS. It will be available for viewing at Watch.TheEmmys.TV and other platforms. Learn more and view the complete list of 2024 Student Production Awards nominees here.
