Congratulations to our February 2024 Caught in the Act winners, Lynnette Hertel and Laura Isaak!
Hertel, a math teacher at Central High School, has been recognized in the category of choosing a great attitude.
She was nominated by Central SPED Secondary Coordinator Mendy Jones, who wrote, “Mrs. Hertel always sees the potential in her students and is willing to take the time to help them achieve it! She is positive and caring and her students know it!”
Isaak, a fifth-grade teacher at C.C. Lee Elementary, has been recognized in the category of being there for others.
Isaak was nominated by Mike Miller Elementary fifth-grade teacher Amanda Gauer, who wrote, “Mrs. Isaak is very compassionate and takes great care of her students. Her classroom is a safe, caring space for her students to be themselves and learn!”
