Congratulations to this week’s Golden Eagle Athlete of the Week, Alyssa Novstrup!

In the first meet of the season, Allie ran hard to a second-place finish with a time of 14:50 over 4K. According to Athletic.net, this time is only the second sub 15-minute 4K recorded on Athletic.net for CHS. She ran smart, stretched her leads out when needed and ran a very impressive race to kick off her season!

It's hard to believe that we are 2 full weeks into the school year already! Have a great long weekend!

Each week the kitchen staff select a "Server of the Week" and the student selected gets to claim our Mirrorball MVP trophy as their own for the week. This is our first out of this world server!

We recognized all of our August birthdays this week! We wish them the best trip around the sun yet!

Mrs. Torbert's class was the first crew to have a visit from the "Winner Wagon" for being the lucky caller #3 in today's Trivia Tuesday!

The first recipient of our staff "Be the Light" light is our custodian, Mrs. Johnson! She goes above and beyond for our students and staff and worked so hard over the summer to get the building in tip top shape for the new school year!

Addyson scored two goals vs. the Sioux Falls Jefferson Cavaliers to lead the Golden Eagles girls’ soccer team to a 3-1 victory!
