The Aberdeen Public School District welcomed new teachers for the 2023-24 school year on Monday, Aug. 14.
The morning started out with New Teacher Orientation at Holgate Middle School.
Educators joining Aberdeen Public Schools heard from a variety of district representatives, including School Board President Aaron Schultz.
Later Monday, incoming teachers attended the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce New Teacher Luncheon.
The event, which was open to all new educators in the Aberdeen community, featured speakers including Lincoln Elementary teacher Lauren Wilkinson.
