The flag on the right shoulder of sweatshirts, jackets, or military uniforms is often displayed “backward” (with the stars on the right side) to give the effect of the flag flying as if the wearer were moving forward.
In the U.S. military, this practice is based on the traditional placement of the flag on military uniforms. The goal is to ensure that the flag always appears as if it is advancing rather than retreating.
Local VFW members and Women's Auxiliary shared facts about the American flag today in a presentation to the CC Lee student council.

Thanks SDSU Nursing Students for applying fluoride to the students at C.C. Lee today. Fluoride treatment is important for young children because it strengthens tooth enamel, making it more resistant to decay. According to the American Dental Association (ADA), fluoride helps prevent cavities, even in children who may not have perfect oral hygiene, and promotes healthy tooth development. It is a safe and effective way to protect children's teeth and reduce future dental problems. #GoEagles #AberdeenPublicSchools
