It's August 1st, which means back to school is right around the corner. We're excited to welcome our May Overby Golden Eagles back for another great school year!

Here are a few important back-to-school reminders:

-Open House: Monday, August 17 from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

-First Day of School (Grades 1-5): Tuesday, August 18 (full day)

-Kindergarten Families: Please follow the schedule outlined in your child's welcome letter.

Be sure to check out the school supply lists below, complete your ASD Annual Update on Parent Portal, and fill out a free and reduced lunch application before the first day of school to help ensure a smooth start to the year.

We can't wait to welcome our students and families back to May Overby Elementary. It's going to be a great year!

Watch for notifications that you’ve been added to your child’s classroom.

This change will allow all communication to come through one platform, replacing apps like See Saw and Remind!

May Overby Student Council did a candy bracket fundraiser! Students voted for their favorite candy by donating money. Nerds Gummy Clusters won! They met their goal of $200, so the whole school got their own Nerds! They were able to donate over $350 to the fire department to use for meals and snacks. Great job, Golden Eagles!
